BIOGRAPHY

Bienvenidos, I was born in Lima (Peru), better known as "La Ciudad de los Reyes", and like almost everybody in Latin America, was bred in a very strong music culture with many different latin rhythms such as: salsa, merengue, boleros, tango and of course the Peruvian Vals and the Afro Peruvian.
In 2006 got my first SALSA DJ's Try Out and I have not been able to stop since then. The Latin Music is for me is what moves the soul, when the bass of an beautiful Salsa song hits me on the chest with an amazing power that you can only experience when you are a real SALSERO...I've always told all my friends "Salsa is more than a mode or businness, Salsa is simply a way of live!"
My Salsa preference is widely, but if I have to make a selection of my favorites styles, that are the Old Classic Salsa (70's or early 80's) and the Salsa Cubana. As a DJ I feel it is very important to know about the roots and history of the Latin American music, specially the Salsa, and not just the recent releases and hits. This is music from a beautiful culture from the streets of the neighbourhoods, from New York crossing Cuba, Puerto Rico, Panama, Venezuela, Colombia until Peru. The music I play has this “Sabor de la Calle” (street flavour’). Of course rhytms like Merengue, Bachata, Zouk and Reaggeton are not forgotten and always combine all these styles in every party I play.
Finally, playing latin Music gives me the great feeling to get everybody on the dance floor and to make sure that everyone is enjoying the greatest latin treasure: our music.
